The second part of the program consists of the 90-Day Meal Plans – one for women and one for men. Each of plans are about 175 pages. Kardena provides veggie recipes for 5 meals per day – two of which are snacks. The recipes are easy to assemble and take a modest amount of time to prepare. Some affinity for cooking is required. That sounds like a very comprehensive diet plan. It’s very important for vegetarians to be espcially careful when choosing a diet plan. You’ve got to make sure you eat enough complete proteins.
This looks like a great book for vegetarians and vegans. I’m sure that when combined with the exercise routines the diet would prove to be very effective in burning fat.

I am a vegetarian and I can say that it was n’t until I stopped eatig meat that I started to lose weight. And I haven’t done any extra working out. Just eating healthy food regularly.

Your site is right on point but I have to somewhat disagree with Amitola…Not for her personally but in general. I love vegetarian dishes as much as I love a good old fashioned burger on the grill.
I don’t think it’s mandatory to have to stop eating everything “meat” related. When combined within reasonable proportions it isn’t difficult to lose weight with a healthy balance of either food groups.

This is a great plan but I don’t think you would feel satisfied or as healthy like those who still eat fish and meat.
For good health it is good to reduce the amount of sweets or junk food that we eat. For fast weight loss, we should completely eliminate junk food from diet, even if it is only for a short period of time. This means that instead of a snack, we can grab an apple or an orange instead of a chocolate bar or a bag of chips. With candy and other sweets being high in calories, we may find a significant decrease in our calorie consumption by eliminating them from diet.

Thanks for that. My son has a total aversion to eating raw fruit for some reason, so I make it into smoothies for him and then he loves it! I also found some great smoothie recipes here and thought I’d share – lots of other great ideas there.
I think having books to help people make the transition is a great idea. becoming vegetarian is actually easy one you just learn the basics in terms of nutritional alternatives to meat.

I wasnt really a big fan of Spinach for many years (ok, that’s a total lie, I hated the stuff), but after marrying a vegan I kind of had to put up with it, and have gradually come to love the stuff. Spinach curry is undoubtedly my absolute favouritest! I recently found an entire spinach recipes website which is my new favourite site now, you should have a look!
